Sirius G2.1 is a product that improves the audio system. The device is another addition to the popular G2.1 series of Auralic products. As a system, the G2.1 tower, consisting of the ARIES G2.1, VEGA G2.1, LEO GX.1 and SIRIUS G2.1 devices, is now one of the most advanced digital sources available for your audiophile system today. The Sirius G2.1 improves compressed, lossy and poor quality recordings, thus improving the overall listening experience. The device can also be connected to any brand of digital-to-analog converter. The Sirius G2.1 provides a universal balance in a world of different formats, resolutions, DAC topologies and algorithm types.

The Sirius G2.1 has multiple inputs and outputs, allowing you to connect to a variety of digital sources and digital-to-analog converters. The unit is capable of delivering the DSD upsampled signal to any compatible USB DAC.The most important factor affecting the playback quality of an audio system is the room in which you play the music. The Sirius G2.1 compensates for a given room with a 20-band parametric equalizer, allowing optimization for the environment without the need to spend money on a complete room remodel or renovation.

The Sirius G2.1 is powered by the AURALiC Proteus G2 co-processing platform; the heart of which is the Xilinx XC7A200T FPGA chip, enhanced by 512 MB of DDR3 memory. This FPGA includes over 200,000 logical cells and 740 DSP segments, which together provide better data processing capabilities. The computing power and performance of the Sirius G2.1 are partially achieved through the design decision to adopt a dual-processor platform structure that doubles its performance. While the AURALiC Tesla G1 handles hardware control, the Proteus G2 focuses its efforts on processing music data.

The Sirius G2.1 housing is designed as a double structure, in which the outer part is made of high-quality aluminum and supplemented with an inner layer of copper. The base is heavy and has an improved four-foot multi-spring suspension system that ensures the quiet, noise-dampening operation of the Unity Chassis II. The internal circuits of the machine are physically positioned in such a way that overall balance is maintained. Thanks to specially designed stands that damp and absorb vibrations, the Sirius G2.1 is stable and ensures smooth signal transmission. What's more, along with the Unity Chassis II technology, the device introduces sophisticated galvanic isolation that drastically reduces the potential of electromagnetic interference, ensuring extremely clear, clear sound. Precise re-clocking reduces jitter, and the all-new galvanic isolation provides even better protection against EMI noise. The result is as much as 80% noise reduction.
